St. Cloud Hotel
Cañon City, CO 81215
Built in 1888, the St. Cloud Hotel is a registered landmark in the Cañon City which former guests report to be haunted. The apparition of a young girl has been seen in the hallways playing with a ball, and it is said that the other ghosts like to play tricks on the staff and visitors alike. TVs and lights would regularly turn off and on again, chairs would be found stacked inside unoccupied rooms, and objects would regularly be hidden. Unfortunately, the hotel has become a bit of a ghost itself, having closed in 2007 and fallen into disrepair since. As of 2015 a local foundation was trying to raise funds to revitalize the St. Cloud.

Walked in during construction as the builders aloud me and saw a woman in a white gown like nightgown at corner of stairs. As though she was running to me. I smiled and walked out yet Everytime I drive by I get a rush of happy and energy when I look up at end window at top floor. I also felt the grey lady Katherine Cooper at the pink hotel. The old stage coach.

We (parents and I) stayed there in 2002. What I experienced was a toilet flushing and TV turning on while we were sleeping. Also the elevator..it was an old style elevator that used the pulley system(if I remember correctly) and it would randomly stop and not want to go. We also saw a spirit girl standing in the hallways.. appearing very lost. I am sad to hear this hotel is no longer as I always wanted to take my kids there!
