Last Dollar Inn
Cripple Creek, CO 80813
This historic inn was the first of its kind in Cripple Creek and it is believed to be haunted by the spirit of a miner who frequently visited back when it was a gambling parlour. It is rumored that he died in a fight on the upper floor of the inn, and he has been seen by guests of the inn as well as by someone passing by the place.

Reviews
As a Tesla researcher, I can find no official record of Nikola Tesla staying or playing at The Last Dollar Inn. He lived at the Alta Vista Hotel from the first day he arrived in CO. There is a quote from an interview with a reporter that he was not in Co..Springs for pleasure but to work, only. He did not die in Co Springs. Linda Goodman, of whom I am a great fan, only speculated on heresay, in her book Star Signs, of which I own a well-read, well-used copy. I am grateful for his mention, but she had no real proof. If there is any data in an archive, I would love to eat my hat. And invite anyone to contact me.
