Where our world crosses over into the spirit world, there is an in between realm known as the Dead Zone! Introducing Colorado's one and only Scream Park.

Corn Stalkers:
Deep within the corn rests a long forgotten dark spirit, revered and known by locals as "The Krow." The origins of this dark force are unknown but trace the history of the property to its very beginnings. After several consecutive seasons of bad crop growth, the farm has begun to try to please "The Krow" through sacrifice. Locals are seen at night stalking the corn looking for victims. Needing a physical form, "The Krow" himself has been seen embodying a scarecrow, assisting with this dark harvest of human souls.

After Dark Corn Maze (not haunted):
The lights are out in Corn Maze and brave visitors can find their way through with only the light of a glow stick.

Fear Flicks:
Pull up a hay bale and take a seat while you enjoy some of your favorite horror flicks with new films showing every week during Dead Zone Scream Park. The movies will start at 7:15 p.m. and then loop through the night. Included with admission to Dead Zone Scream Park. Email Haunt Owner
Pumpkin Festival:
Enjoy a day of fall activities for both adults and kids, and a 10-acre pumpkin patch. Local craft and artisan booths, food trucks and vendors, beer and wine, plus live music.
Corn Maze:
Wind your way through seven acres of corn. The maze can be viewed from two 15-foot tall illuminated bridges. Visitors under the age of 10 can explore the mini-maze. Enjoy a hayride and food vendors. For kids, there are also barrel train rides, a jumping pillow, pony rides and human hamster balls.

Fridays & Saturdays, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Sundays, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
www.botanicgardens.org

Tickets include one hayride, barrel train ride (for children 12 and under) and unlimited jumping on a giant pillow. Pony rides and hamster balls are available for an additional fee. An array of food vendors sell favorite fall foods such as funnel cakes, hotdogs, freshly squeezed lemonade and kettle corn.

  • Worth the money

Dead Zone is both fun and scary. I, sister and my nieces had a blast. The haunt is far away from urban areas, so there is a natural creep appeal to it. Of the three attractions, it was the corn stalkers maze that features all the scares. We also spent some time searching for our way out in the after dark corn maze. The concessions, food trucks, and the many family friendly things to do in the garden topped off an excellent weekend outing. Worth the money and time. I will come again with kids.

  • Email Verified Entertaining...

This one was entertaining. There was something unsettling about at least one haunt in the corn stalkers maze. Suddenly everything around you is moving and rustling. The long creepy path and tight confined corn stalks does not make matter any easier for the visitor. Couple of jump scares made us scream. Definitely worth recommending to other scare seekers out there. We will visit again.

  • Scary and creepy

We went as a group of 5. There was a small house at the beginning of the haunted maze and it was so small that we barely fit through it. The corn stalker maze was pretty scary. You can’t see what hides behind the tall corn stalks. The winding path does not give away what is much ahead of you either. Actors’ makeup was scary and creepy. The hayride was fun, but lame. No scares there. We skipped the after dark corn maze as it had no scares either. Hot chocolate was awesome. Check it out if you’re in town.

  • Fun unlimited!!

Fun unlimited!! The after dark corn maze was plain fun, with no scares. You got a flashlight and you got to find the way out. But it was confusing and it took us some time to get to the exit. Will try the scary attractions next season.

  • Email Verified Freaked me out

Very scary scream park! The creepy winding path through corn stalks in the dark virtually freaked me out. Almost all hidden scares scared the crap out of us. Great timing and performance by the actors. The costumes looked creepy real. Great place to visit with friends!

  • Great place had fun

A wonderful weekend adventure for my boys. Hayride through woods in dark was really scary and kids were chilled with fear. Dark maze was not so scary but it was quite a thrilling experience finding our way out with a glow stick. Over all we had a great time at Dead Zone.

Superb experience. Loved the idea of corn stalks and nice small house, well crafted and put together to hit the bull’s eye. We were screaming like anything. Good special effects and well skilled actors. Recommended for anyone who wants to experience an unconventional haunt house.

  • Email Verified Maze was terrifying

We went as a team of 5 and we had a blast to say the least. The fog and green lights made it impossible for us to see the actors before they popped out and scared you. The maze was terrifying. The whole experience was worth every penny paid.

  • Email Verified Pleasant experience

Went to Dead zone with my family last month. It was a pleasant experience. I have never seen my wife screaming and yelling this much in any other haunt. The actors did every tactic fantastically to challenge our fear fighting attitude. My kids also enjoyed a lot. The staff are very friendly.

  • Email Verified Scariest haunted

We had a blast. Loved all their attraction. For me, it’s Corn Stalkers the best one to experience. We went in a group of four and wandering in the dark corn fields with a flash light was really a scariest of all heart pounding feelings. Worth every $ spent and thrilling hang out with group.

  • Email Verified absolutely terrifyinggg

The whole place was absolutely terrifying. Scary actors and lots of fun made it my favorite haunt. Highly impressed with all the 3 attractions. Its more like family friendly haunt so kids will love this place. Dark night maze is like solving a puzzle no scares but you will love it with a flashlight. Hayride and corn stalkers is pretty scary.

  • Email Verified Well designed maze and hayride

I rarely write a review. But, this place deserves one. Blown by the creepy actors and their skills to frighten me and my group. Well designed maze and hayride are the best to explore in a scary evening supported by creepy background music. Staffs are friendly too.

The Dead Zone was a BLAST. Great scares and a very immersive environment. I'll take this over some cheesy gags in warehouse any day.
