Lakes Haunted by Ghosts in Colorado

Helen Hunt Falls is located on the Cheyenne Creek in the North Cheyenne Canon Park and it is named for Helen Maria Hunt Jackson (1830-1885). She was a poet, writer and activist on behalf of Native Americans. The falls are rumored to be haunted by the ghosts of many people who have lost their lives here.
