The Boulder Theater is rumored to be haunted by a ghost named George Paper, a theater manager in the 1940's. Paper was hanged accidentally by some dangling wiring and has been known to appear as a spirit. He turns the lights off and on, turns on the bathroom faucets and opens the bathroom doors. People have also seen his ghost dash past them. The pub next door to the theater is called George's Food & Drink, named after the active ghost.
