This building was built as a private home in the 1940's and a woman named Cora Van Voorhis fell to her death from the top of the stairs. Cora's granddaughter had stated that she saw Cora's ghost after the funeral, so it isn't all that unlikely that her spirit still remains here. This location was formerly the Cheshire Cat Brewpub and when it became Yak & Yeti Indian Restaurant, a paranormal research group was brought in because the employees had experienced evidence of what they thought was a ghost. The investigators heard women's voices and clinking noises, witnessed lights flickering for no reason and obtained video footage of a chair moving by itself.
