Gold Camp Tunnels

Legend says that the third tunnel collapsed as a school bus crashed into it. The bus driver either committed suicide or suffered a heart attack. All the children on the bus died. The third tunnel is now fenced off, however you can still walk up the dark cave. Many people died in these tunnels while they were being built in the 1800's. Bodies wash up annually around the area which would cause many angered spirits. The area surrounding the tunnels is also said to be filled with satan worshippers. In the 1970's and 1980's, and probably still today, men are seen chanting in black robes carrying torches as they walk up past the haunted tunnels. In the third tunnel, laughter and voices of children can be heard, along with feeling a tugging on clothing. Tiny hand prints have been found on cars parked outside the tunnel. The second tunnel is rumored to be more violently active. People have reported being hit, getting scratched, groped, possessed and heard voices. The figure of a man is seen at the end of the tunnel, many say that when they check out the car afterward, there are handprints and finger marks all over it. Hand prints will even occasionally appear on clean cars.
