On May 21st when the conditions are right a light can be seen along the railroad tracks of Kiowa Creek along with the sound of a steam engine whistle off in the distance. However the second part of the story is not for the faint of heart. I have witnessed the woman in black carrying what appears to be a an old railroad lantern swinging it back and forth looking for her deceased husband who was on engine 51 the night it went down. His body had floated away from the engine when it was finally discovered. She kneels down to where it was either found or perhaps since there is so much controversy over whether the actual engine was recovered it could be where it resides. She is seen walking down aptly named Old Victory Road to where she stops to kneel in a nearby pasture.
