This hotel was built in 1906 and is rumored to be haunted by the original owner, W.T. Bross's mother. It has been said that when the building was refurbished in the 1990's, her spirit became uneasy and was seen and heard by many people. She is reportedly a friendly ghost and has even been known to turn down the sheets for the guests.
